ReBug 4.75.3 D-REX

Ccapi 2.60 installed (pc/PS3)

ip is correct, made sure of it... SEVERAL TIMES

FIREWALL IS TURNED OFF

Why can't I connect?

The error I get is

"Cannot Connect to PS3-148

1) verify that your PS3 ip is correct

2) check that your antivirus or firewall
is blocking the communication with your PS3

3) make sure that you have correctly install ccapi 2.60 on your PS3"

If you're on D-REX you should be able to use tmapi, which is much better and more stable

But going through all that Ethernet stuff is so troubling. Plus the tools I want to use are only ccapi supported

I think ccapi is ethernet too, but I can't tell as I have an ethernet connected 24/7

Did you install the package on the PS3 as well? Make sure to actually open it also so that it installs.

I've never been able to connect, this has been a problem for a few months
