(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok. So Today (Sunday), I got a new HDD (External)(NTFS)(1TB), which I tried using NTFS but im using Rebug 4.75.1 but.. prepNTFS doesnt work and MM couldnt find a NTFS Drives.

Therefor, I Decided to use SmartDisk Fat32 Formatter. I connected the PS3 with it and one thing happened was the playstation boot played as if it was a video error or a crash, and it froze after that. When I restarted it froze, although I can press the eject button but not the power button so unplugging is the only option.

SafeMode??Boot doesnt work. It Freeze and will never show. I decided to sit and wait until atleast some notification alert me whats wrong or what happened or a fix. But nothing.
- I tried other Harddrive and neither they did work. Froze aswell.

I was told when I was using NTFS HDD for multiman I had to change the "USB.CFG" to my HDD value id, and partners id etc. Which I did. That could be the issue right? If not...

What could be my issue? Kas

You are absolutely sure you cannot boot into recovery mode?

The ps3 can reformat the internal hdd on its own, but if it's not booting at all in any way, you have much bigger problems.

Yea. It freezes when I go into boot. I can't access recovery, If I could I wouldn't have no problems. But in this case I cant. I don't know what happened, But I think my ps3 stopped reading HDD every since I added a new one USB External.

Maybe reflashing it may work because with Multiman USB.CFG maybe I added the wrong values and now its looking for a different harddrive. Only IF i could access my PS3 ftp or configurations from the HDD. Im going to to teensy up my PS3 again and try to get it working. It's not a problem, I just dont want to loose my HDD. I gots to reset my ps3, or get rid of cache files/configuration. Maybe a reflow would fix? My ps3 is brand new, and I don't want to decrease its lifespan.

Try plugging it into your PC and formatting it with windows' formatting by right clicking it in windows explorer and format; file system > fat32.
