its rex and yes before i done the transfer in toggle q&a i just read a thread of someone who had same problem and he downloaded rebug 4.46.1 lite so im gonna try that now and see if i get any look lol wish me luck this is sooo fustrating its been like this for 3 days now...

Hello i recently switched from habbib 4.03 to rebug 4.65 cfw the switch went fine to me knowlage LOL untill i rebooted ps3 and it said sytem files corrupt bla bla so i clicked restore and it just kept on looping and wouldnt get it of my screen so i looked at a couple tutorials and decided my best idea is to take out the hdd and format it on my laptop so i did that and when i put it back in it asked me to install a firware 4.65 or higher so i tried to reinstall my firmware and it goes past the part where it formats your playstation but then when it says checking update data after a minute it says system firmware data is corrupt and gives me a error code so i am in a sticky siyuation and to top it all of now when i try turning it on it goes black screen and green light stays on like its got green light of death i have managed to get my system on and im leaving it on but i was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what i could do next as i dont want to install diffrent firmware incase of bricking or complete failure of system ??????

Just verify for me that the PUP file is name "PS3UPDAT.PUP" , not PS3UPDATE.PUP

i basically done the same thing as This guy, habib 4.66 to Rebug 4.75 REX everything was fine, Switched cex to dex, ended up changing a few settings in rebug toolbox (cant remember) change something to (retail), rebooted later RSOD, Trying your method Right now... See if you can install downgrader

3.55 Rogero Downgrader RSOD Dont work for me Sats the same thing .... Says No applicable data was found. Connect storage media that contains update data of version 2.70 or later, and then press START and SELECT at the same time

Did you take a look at my tutorial ? I had these problems yesterday and somehow sorted out , that's why I made this tutorial .

8002f325 That is the error code im getting every time i have tried rogero 999 downgrader and rebug downgrader no luck im on the verge of giving up and using it as a door stop

no :/ i dont have another but i have formatted mine like 7 times to fat32 and would a old hdd do it if i tried putting it on that it connects to pc fine?
