Sorta like having 2 PS3s one jail broken and one ofw , you connect the Ethernet cable and transfer all data over. Is there a way to do this with just a laptop and a ofw PS3? For instance let's say I wanted to mod mw2 for PS3 and have a mod menu pkg for it on the laptop but no jail broken PS3, can I use a PS3 simulator on the laptop and install it to the ofw coding and transfer it from the laptop to the PS3? There are Game Save Editors Red-EyeX32 has made which modify the game for you but it only works for campaign.

But there isn't a way to access the online with the game save tools? To give prestiges or anything ?

In order to mod online, you would need a Custom Firmware...

game save tools only work really for single player. Old games like MCLA and MW2 etc those were games that people could mod the gamesaves and use them online, but everything is saved on servers now its not possible more newer games. You will need CFW.
