What's the CECH number? The NOR chip ones don't require any soldering, just a bit of DIY for applying pressure.
I'm not familiar with the NAND fitting method.

All slims are NOR.You must login or register to view this content.
Your console must have been manufactured with 3.55
if it is any model of 25xxx series, I'd suggest you run minverchk even if your manufacturer's date was before 2010
Solderless method would be to use the e3 flasher.
