Just delete the stuff you don't use and go to safe mode and perform a "Restore file system" and "Rebuild database" Number 3 and 4 in the menu that will speed up the Ps3 but rebuilding the database will make you lose all PSN messages. I do this at least once a week and i run an ssd instead of a hdd and have the smoothest Ps3 i've ever seen, i sell jailbroken Ps3's and have operated hundreds of them but by far the ssd i would say is unbeatable. I will never freeze, lag, or struggle to load the map from the ssd, never have any problems and teleport instantly without waiting for the game to load. Since i used the ssd every modder thats tried to freeze me using spawn clones or planes etc. Have only frozen themselves, like literally i can have hundreds of clones and not even a single glitch. If a modder spawns clones or other stuff on me i don't try and use the fly mod to get away i just hit passive mode so i can't be blamed for killing the lobby and drop the controller and wait a minute for them to freeze themselves.

Just reinstall your CFW and packages...
