I download it and its a pup file

.PUP files are the designated file extension to update a PS3. Simply put that file on a USB in the following directory: PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

Rename that .PUP file PS3UPDAT.PUP

PS3 and UPDATE are the names of the folders. So on the root of the USB, meaning inside of no folders, make a folder called PS3. Inside that PS3 folder, name another folder UPDATE. Inside the UPDATE folder, drag the .PUP file and rename it PS3UPDAT.PUP Make sure that everything is capitalized that way.
