DEX is certainly better for many reasons, such it's faster also more mods/menus are only produced for DEX...

Which version should i use?

The CFW is up to you, the best one that suits you, you should try them and see what meets your requirements...

Yes, you should use PSNPATCH or PSNNINJA... you can find the download links in the thread I've linked you to.

If CID Ban Does Occur what are the Methods used to get back to modding?

You can change your CID(IDPS) with many methods such as using CCAPI or PSNPATCH... PSNPATCH I believe will be better for you. However, using CCAPI is easier...

For CCAPI:

Step 1: Connect both your PC and your PS3 with CCPAI

Step 2: Where it says "IDPS" enter your new CID... it will need to be 32 characters long. Once you entered your new CID, click set IDPS


For PSNPATCH:

Step 1: Create a .txt document

Step 2: Inside the .txt write idps= write your 32 character long IDPS here

Strep 3: Save the .txt as psnpatch.cfg

Step 4: Put psnpatch.cfg on the root of your USB...

Step 5: Plug the USB into your PS3 then run PSNPATCH

Step 6: Once PSNPATCH is running click "Square" on your controller and click "X"

Which Games can i hack and mod while still online?

The most popular games on this site are GTA V and Black Ops 3... there are menu tools and menus for these games.

Should i purchase said games?

It's up to you, you can back them up on your HDD... however, i should say that NGU does not allow any type of Warez. Warez is copy right protected material that's released illegally such as using Torrents to download games.
