(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); A friend is trying to install a CCAPI on his ps3. All he has told me is that it's v4.70 by Enstone. This is his first time dealing with a jailbroken PS3 and I don't know anything about installing that. Can someone explain some of it to me so I can help him out?

What firmware is he on? Make sure he is on the latest update of CCAPI, Rev 7. Tell him to download it from here and to install the .pkg on the PS3 and to open it as well. Then it will go through the installation process. Then have him install it on the PC. Once he does that, have him find the IP Address through System Settings and then go to the desktop version and press File --> Add a new console and for the PS3 ip, type that IP in. Then name it anything. Then right click and press connect and it should connect.

I'm waiting on a reply about his firmware. How does he install it on his ps3? He came to me for help and I am obviously not much help. I'm pretty new to it as well. Lol
