(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I've just ordered my 3.55 PS3 and was wondering what set up you guys would suggest to me for a jailbreak

I'm currently looking at ReBug as I had previously but not to sure as I was new to modding back then, and was wondering if anything new has come out?

If not what would you guys suggest to me to use as a CFW?

Also I've been looking at tutorials on YouTube to install and set up jailbroken PS3 and not sure if it is legit or not?

If you could link me to where it gives step by step guides to do it again I would be more than thankful!

Your going to mainly need the following:

- The CFW that will be running on your console...

- The Spoofer in order to play online on the latest update...

- Some protection, such as PSNINJA or PSNPATCH to prolong your CID(IDPS)...

Other than that, there isn't any thing that you'll really need. Below are some videos to get you started...

You can always change your CID(IDPS) with many methods such as using either PSNPATCH or PSNINJA... follow the methods before. Also, since your new to Jailbreaking I would advise you read this thread You must login or register to view this content., simply follow the steps which apply to you.

How to change your CID(IDPS) with CCAPI:

Step 1: Connect both your PC and your PS3 with CCPAI

Step 2: Where it says "IDPS" enter your new CID... it will need to be 32 characters long. Once you entered your new CID, click set IDPS

How to change your CID(IDPS) with PSNPATCH:

Step 1: Create a .txt document

Step 2: Inside the .txt write idps= write your 32 character long IDPS here

Strep 3: Save the .txt as psnpatch.cfg

Step 4: Put psnpatch.cfg on the root of your USB...

Step 5: Plug the USB into your PS3 then run PSNPATCH

Step 6: Once PSNPATCH is running click "Square" on your controller and click "X"

Great, I'm going to bookmark both pages so I know where to look for when it arrives Smile

Also do you have to buy IDPS or just random letters / numbers?

Well you can do both really, however, it's best to buy one... NGU doesn't allow the sales on CID(IDPS). The answer to your question is, yeah you can use CID(IDPS) generators, look for this on YouTube... However, the odds of getting one that's actually working is extremely low, you may spend hours doing ti for nothing. It's best to buy it since, you know it's going to work. Also, keep in mind people can double sell meaning, selling the same CID(IDPS) twice... so, it would be wise for you to extract them yourself. This video below will show you how to do it, you will need some tools however first. Other than that, there isn't any way or getting a free CID(IDPS) unless if people release them publicly on YouTube and such.
