Yeah, in order to jailbreak you need to downgrade to firmware 3.55 with an E3 flasher. You have to buy one and follow a tutorial which can be found on YouTube. Or you can send it off and have someone else work on it. Sorry but that is the only way.

As the previous users have said, you need to use a specific hardware tool pertaining to your console. Different models use different tools. Some models cannot even be downgraded. Simple .PUP files you put on a USB will not work, like most of the fake videos on YouTube.
