I tried restore default settings via safe mode, problem is still there lol. All that happened after I ran 4.78 spoofer and choose Hard Reboot.

Boot your ps3 into recovery mode and reinstall your cfw.

HEY THEY I HEARD THAT YOU WENT AND INSTALL 4.78 SPOOFER AND YOU HIT SOFT REBOOT OR HARD REBOOT IT'S CALLED A BRICKED BUT DON'T WORRY THAT MEAN'S THAT YOU CANNOT FIX IT YOU WILL HAVE TO GO ON RECORVERY MODE (SAFE MODE) AND WAIT THEY SECONDLY YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD REBUG_3.55.4_999_DGR_PS3UPDAT.PUP AFTER THAT CREATE A FOLDER CALLED PS3 INSIDE THE PS3 MAKE ANOTHER FOLDER CALL UPDATE INSIDE THE UPDATE FOLDER PASTE THE PS3UPDAT.PUP IN IT THEN GO ON YOUR PS3 AND PLUG IN YOUR USB AFTER YOU DO THAT GO TO SYSTEM UPDATE ON (SAFE MODE) AND IT WILL INSTALL IF YOU GET A ERROR LIKE 8002F2C5 OR 8002F2D5 YOU HAVE TO DOWNGRADE IT BACK TO THE OFW FIRMWARE 3.55 AND IF YOU SEE YOUR HDD (HARD DRIVE) COURUPTTED THAT MEAN YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW ONE AND THEN IF YOU DIDN'T GET ANY ERROR LIKE THAT THAT MEAN YOU ARE LUCKY YOU HAVE TO JUST INSTALL THE FIRMWARE AND ONES IT DOWNLOADED YOU HAVE TO PUT TOGGLE QA ON THEN DOWNLOAD 4.70 OR WHAT OTHER FIRMWARE YOU WANT AND SPOOFED IT TO 4.76 AND RUN DEX INSTEAD OF CEX HOPE THIS HELP YOU AND I'AM OUT.

download your cfw (rebug 4.70)
Rename the file to "PS3UPDAT.PUP" (no quotes)



1. On a fat32 formatted usb flash drive, create a folder named "PS3"
2. Inside the "PS3" folder, create a folder named "UPDATE"
3. Inside the "UPDATE" folder, place your PS3UPDAT.PUP

structure should be fat32formattedflashdriveroot/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

4.Put the flash drive into your furthest right port on the ps3

5. Boot ps3 into recovery(or safe mode as you call it)
6. Select option "update system"

It should install and next boot should be xmb

If i am trying to Convert To 4.70.1 Rebug DEX and im on 4.76 Rebug CEX do i have to Downgrade to 3.55 and then install 4.70 Rebug CEX and convert to DEX or do i just install the 4.70.1 CEX and then Convert?
Main Question: Do i need to DownGrade Back to 3.55 to install 4.70.1 or do i just install it with out Downgrading?

To go to Dex you need to do is downgrade so u can install 4.70 rex firmware convert to Dex then install 4.70 drex or 4.75.3 drex rebug firmware.you always need to downgrade to either get. Back to a firmware or to go to a lower firmware to upgrade to Dex
