(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i have been downgrading ps3s for a few weeks now and i recently did a ps3 same as all the rest. i got the dump, patched it, than put the dump back on the ps3 same as every other time.
BUT this time after i put the patched dump back on the ps3 through the e3 flasher. i go to turn it on so i can install the rogero downgrader and nothing.. literally nothing, theres no video, and i cant turn off the system unless i unplug it. i cant hold the power button and get beeps, so i cant get into recovery mode. i cant do anything at all with this. i have tried everything.. its not the video cord its has nothing to do with any cords or tv channels so dont try to say that. it worked perfectly untill right after i patched the dump and put it back on there..
i tried putting all the switches down and maybe putting the original dump back on it but than i just get 1 5 6 error.. and i know the e3 flasher is fine cuz i used it on a different system right after to be sure it worked still. i know its connected properly i just know that everything should be working perfect but yet no video no sound no nothing but a green light
i really need a fix please come at me with anything that may fix this

Does the green light stay on forever, so it's ever lasting? You most likely have the GLOD(Green light Of Death). I don't believe there is a fix that I would suggest, since most of them are just to open your console and place some card-board there... It may be a broken connection, did you plug all the cables back into the ps3 motherboard?

Yeah you could be right. However, a broken connection such as a solder point breaking/cracking would still allow the console to turn off... I believe the user has the GLOD(Green Light Of Death) but I don't think there is a suggested fix for that. Also, he says he has to take the power cord out in the OP.

True, Though I would suggest getting a new ps3 than paying more money on reballing in case id doesnt work.

so im just out this ps3? the messed up thing is just last night i was trying install a different cfw on a different system .. was on rebug 4.76 drex , switched to rex than down to 4.70.1rex .. after that i used rebug toolbox to switch to dex... and than i got the start and select screen to put in an update of 2.70 or higher cuz software wasnt working or whatever.. i tried rogero downgrader , but nope i tried 3.55 ofw and 4.78 ofw but neither read, than i tried kmeaw3.55, i tried the 4.70 rebug.. i tried everything.. than i justt go to bed thinking ill fix it in the morning.. well now when i turn it on , no freakin picture!! same as the other one except this one can turn off.. if i hold the button for a long time...
if i try to go to recovery mode it will beep to turn on than beep to turn off.. only two beeps, once for on and once for off.. idk im just doing horrible at this stuff
