Depends what game, some require you to be on 4.70 or higher to play online.

I would go to the latest REBUG D-REX firmware to play online and so you can play the latest games.

Yes, you will have to downgrade to 3.55, then up to Rebug etc etc..

I would advise using Rebug CFW. Use the latest version of Rebug D-Rex version (DEX) The latest version auto spoofs 4.78 so no spoofers are required.
