(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i have a customer whos ps3 is on 4.78 everything went fine got 3 vaild dumps so i patched them using dump checker once i have patched it i turn it off and put hdd into it the ps3 stays on with green light no hdd blinking light no mains coming from usb ports so i thought its bricked so i re flashed the main dump from back up still have the problem also i checked the nor dump patched as well still al good but it keeps asking me to patch it but it already is this cuz the dump checker needs to be updated for it to work with 4.78 ofw thanks for reading

No, if that's the case and you do have GLOD(Green Light Of Death) then I don't see how your going to fix it. Since, thermal paste wouldn't make a difference, only really helps with YLOD(Yellow Light Of Death). Tightening up the clamps wouldn't do anything other than apply more pressure to the Nor. I would suggest you go onto YouTube and search for a solution but most of them are place some cardboard underneath the motherboard and such. I'm pretty sure you want a solid fix rather than a temporary fix if this is a customer's PS3.

For whatever reason, you have written a bad flash to the console and now you have GLOD.

Maybe your dump tool is old or something, or the process was just done incorrectly.

Whatever the case may be, you need to solder a wire from tristate to a ground, boot ps3 back up, put e3 flasher all switches down except "fun flash", and try to get a good flash written to it.

ok thanks for your help now i have something diffrent when i take of nor clip and put ps3 back together i get glod but when the e3 flasher connected to the nor clip i get the screen cannot start witch is good but i cnt take e3 flasher off as i will glod again im so confusedd must be a bad flash somewhere

Have you tried pulling another dump? If you can get one and theres nothing wrong with it then try flashing that one back?

tryied that still the same i have explained to my customer ive said as ur ps3 fat keeps getting glod when e3 flasher installed so i will replace it with a slim witch i downgrading today only fats seem do fuck up slims are better anyway he is happy for the replacement thanks for your help guys u can close the thread if needed
