And I succesfully converted to DEX! But then I went aheas to go online but I always get this message "An error has occured. You have been signed out of PSN. (8002A224)" I researched it a little more, and saw a video where he said i was CIDd banned?

so my question is, am I CID banned? It's my first time then. And if I am CID banned, do you guys know a good and trusted seller I could buy one from.

UPDATE: I found a fix to this! As bubzdc2 said, when you convert to DEX it changes one random number in your Console ID. The way I fixed this, was by using SEN Enabler (v. 5.9.0) and in SEN Enabler there was a "Restore original ids" wich I pressed then I could go online. Bam! Easy as that?

Error 8002A224 happens to almost everyone, what I did to fix this is I went to Rebug 4.46.1 D-Rex Then Spoofed to 4.78, Then use ControlConsoleAPI 2.60 to set new CID & Check set this CID as default. You can also use PS3ita manager 1.51 what you need to do is go to network and click on set Console ID to default then set new CID. Hope this Fix's the Error for you also remember to ALWAYS use PSNPATCH!

This happens when you convert to DEX it changes one digit in your CID from a 2 to a 4. the way i combat this is
install latest version of PSNPatch
copy the default.cfg file from the psn patch game folder
rename it to psnpatch.cfg
open psn patch and write down your cid and psid
open psnpatch.cfg with notepad.
find the spots where the spoofed cid and psid go put the numbers you recorded from psnpatch there.
copy psnpatch.cfg to psnpatch folder on ps3.
Run psn patch make sure original and spoofed ids are identical and push x.
clean up with psninja and login.
there are dozen ways to do it that is just how i do it.

I had a fresh console/jb by me. so I no cid was good, went on ahead an set original cid/didn't work still'

I'm not sure if this was the same problem that I had but try going into Rebug Toolbox & Go all the way to the right to Utilities & scroll all the way down to ( CHANGE ACTIVE PS3ID ) & select USE EID5: 85 (CEX)

Then run whatever you do to delete history & patch CFW & try signing in for online

restore your cid with ccapi and hit set boot, problem solved
