i had to get a new hard drive and thta fixed the freezing but gta still wont start and i was already on system software mode

Try to explain a little better. When you say "gta won't start". Does that mean when you try to load the game you get black screen? If so try deleting the updates and reinstall them. Also try some other games for testing.

Hopefully that was the problem and your console is not actually overheating..If you suspect it is overheating, you should change your thermal paste before it gets any worse.


Assuming your copy of GTA is installed correctly and not corrupted in some type of way, you most likely need a launch fix for the latest update.

It is __GNXKS's eboot, so if you are using an sprx with it, make sure to rename the sprx file to "__GNXKS.sprx" (no quotes)
