If It's a pkg file, place the pkg on a fat32 formatted usb drive, put the usb in your right most port on the ps3, and install it through xmb "install_pkg_files"

or, in Filezilla, place the pkg in dev_hdd0/packages/ and install it through xmb (or multiman and then xmb if you can't)

But don't you have to have a disc insterted into the system?

Just put any disc in the system so it can emulate onto it.

I have never needed to insert a disc on any cfw (that I have used) in order to play a game..

You can also look into PSNstuff, you can get digital based games in .pkg form, and install to the XMB. Those should work if bluray emulation doesn't work out..

My bluray drive is broke as soon as I put the disk in it makes a eject noise and yes I already tried making sure the ribbons are connected
