What's the issue: I am getting Error Code 8002308A repeatedly when either linking or creating a PSN account on my PS3 - I keep spamming O X and it USED TO go through after a few tries, Since upgrading to the latest Rebug - now I am getting 80023088 which closes the window and takes it back to XMB
The 80023088 is new since I upgraded to the latest rebug CFW and converted to DEX
Other Points: I have one account linked to a profile, it logs in no problem and goes online no problem, it is only when creating or linking a new account to a different profile
On the account that has a profile linked already - when I go into the Account Settings I get 80023012 but it still lets me play online and log in to PSN
I don't think it is a ban since I can log in on the existing account, but I have tried everything, googled no end and nothing is conclusive with the results.
80023088: SCE_NP_COMMERCE2_ERROR_TLV_TOO_SHORT
8002308a: SCE_NP_COMMERCE2_ERROR_TLV_DATALEN_TOO_LONG
80023012: SCE_NP_COMMERCE2_ERROR_RESPONSE_BUF_TOO_SMALL
What I have tried: I am changing the CID in rebug toolbox to CEX as required on every reboot
What I have: PS3 Phat running Rebug 4.78.1
Thanks in advance for any help
I asked Kam about a response on another thread, and he says it seems it is a problem with PSN, but I have since tried on a non-cfw PS3 and the same account logs in fine? I am not sure if I have missed something in the conversion or reflash process.
I told someone else to try Restore Default Settings which will wipe all of their games and packages, but not the firmware. You can do that and it worked for them....
