Have you tried removing the hard drive the starting up your PS3, wait till you get the new error msg and the hdd light stops flashing and slide the hard drive back in and press the PS button to restart PS3.

I am guessing that you mean "file system corrupt". Then won't go through with it?

1. Boot the ps3 into recovery
2. Reinstall your cfw
