Post: DEX RSOD Cant get past it
02-02-2016, 01:52 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello Everyone Need some support on this one, I have looked all over the place for a answer but no luck.

this is whats going on... RSOD DEX Just up Upgraded to REBUG D-REX 4.78 from 4.70

Tried lower Version of REBUG, Rogero 3.55, & DEX PS3 OFFICIAL FIRMWARE OFW 3.55 [DOWNGRADER DEX]

I had come across this before with a CEX Rebug system but I installed Hibab in which allowed me back to xmb to install the RSOD Fix Package

Any Help in direction would be great full thanks

Ok after formatting the hard drive and starting a restore It gets to 70 percent and BAM! RSOD! Is it the firmwares Im trying to use or is there no way back out side of using my original dumps and flashing again? any Opinions are welcome.

Try this

1. Boot ps3 into recovery

2. Install You must login or register to view this content.

Make sure to verify your folder structure:
Fat32formattedflashdriveroot/PS3/UPDATE/UPDAT.PUP

This will bypass RSOD

3. Once on downgrader, install and run You must login or register to view this content.

4. Install cfw of your choice.

1. Boot ps3 into recovery (DONE)

2. Install 3.55 Rogero Downgrader RSOD (DONE With this Exact RSOD 3.55 PUP)

Make sure to verify your folder structure:
Fat32formattedflashdriveroot/PS3/UPDATE/UPDAT.PUP (Varified)

This will bypass RSOD (Fail)

Any other ideas

Maybe reformat the flash drive or try another known working one, maybe it's not copying correctly. Could POSSIBLY be the hdd..Seems like the flash or firmware is corrupt in some way or another. Rogeros should work Sal
