Are you using a modified eboot for this game?

Wdym? I mean I'm using a sprx menu which I had to overwrite the original eboot if that's what you mean but I don't understand why the game won't work only when I go online

Try this.
Start the game first. once you are in the game push the PS button and log into psn then return to the game. Some modified eboots get goofy when psn is involved I dont know why.

I cant claim credit for it. I actually read it over in the black ops 2 forum I think, They were talking about crashing when playing onine and the work around was to start the game and then log into psn after game was up. So i thought it might help. hope it does.

Well the good news is it's not when I sign in that makes the game freeze but I thinking it's the PSN patch that does it because after I did the steps in PSNinja I used the PSN patch then tried to start my game then it freezes

Ive never had PSNpatch cause any problems, not to say it isn't.
What game are you using?
Did you keep un modified copies of files you replaced? If so first thing I would try is restoring those and see if you can game unline without the mods
