Get a new CID. Buy one only from someone you feel safe buying from. Stay away from shady deals, people could be selling the CID to many other people resulting in a quicker ban..

You can look for public CIDS online but they usually don't last the hour they are posted.


Once you have a new CID, you can use software such as CCAPI to set it.

You'll need to buy a new CID(IDPS) to get your console unbanned. Firstly, NGU doesn't allow the sale of CID(IDPS) so you'll need to search elsewhere such as: Ebay, Amazon... Once you've got your CID(IDPS) you can change using multiple methods. The easiest in my opinion would be to either use CCAPI or PSNPATCH, you can find both methods below:

For CCAPI:

Step 1: Connect both your PC and your PS3 with CCPAI

Step 2: Where it says "IDPS" enter your new CID... it will need to be 32 characters long. Once you entered your new CID, click set IDPS

For PSNPATCH:



Step 1: Create a .txt document

Step 2: Inside the .txt write idps= write your 32 character long IDPS here

Strep 3: Save the .txt as psnpatch.cfg

Step 4: Put psnpatch.cfg on the root of your USB...

Step 5: Plug the USB into your PS3 then run PSNPATCH

Step 6: Once PSNPATCH is running click "Square" on your controller and click "X"
