Which also changed your serial number i'm guessing because I made a new account on the new console ID and tried calling sony to get it back but they said the serial numbers don't match.. So I am wondering if there's anyway for me to find out what serial number is attached to my new console ID?

console ids wouldnt change the serial number, i dont believe the serial number has anything to do with firmware or any software, i believe it is a manufacture code to make sure people dont call and give them the riot act to try and get a free system, on the other hand it may have changed your mac address:p

Chances of getting your CID back from sony are slim too none as in you were banned for a reason either from modding of CFW was detected on your system. Calling them and trying to get it back will do you no good. Also the CID and Serial numbers are totally different. The serials can actually be located on the back of the system where there is a white sticker.
