Post: PS3 won't start up anymore!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I've been looking everywhere over several forums for this issue and still can't get this fixed.
When I start my PS3, the green LED goes on, everything starts and after 3-4 seconds it just stops and the LED goes out.
I've read on forums that there are problems with your power supple or HDD with this issue.I changed both of them in random orders and still negative.
My PS3 was jailbreaked for half a year without any major problems. I believe it was now on Rebug 4.76.1 (haven't touched it for a while)

Any ideas?

It appears that you have GLOD (Green Light Of Death) this is possibly the worst. Since, there isn't actually a method to solve the problem...

I think this is different. With the green light of death the LED stays on. My LED will just turn off after a few seconds. Tried both replaces PSU and HDD. That were the only solutions I found on the internet so far.

Do a barrel roll!
I fixed my OFW once by just buying a new power supply on eBay, and it fixed it...

If the ps3 was working fine previously, then your RSX is shot. You could reflow it, change thermal paste, and hope for the best, or get it reballed. Otherwise you will need a new console. GLOD is considered fatal..

Well then, if you're trying to solve this problem and you've tried those solutions I don't see what more you could do. Possible option is either re-flowing or re-balling your console. But I would advise you buy a new one...
