1. Open Rebug toolbox
2. Select option "dump eid root key"
Select yes, Console will reboot
3. Open Rebug toolbox
4. Select option "rewrite target ID in flash"
Select yes
5. Select option "swap lv2 kernal"
select yes and yes for it to reboot.

6. Install a DEX cfw of your choice. like You must login or register to view this content.

Do I need a pc and usb or can I just convert it thru the JB?

So I did everything in order and now it's saying 'No applicable update data was found connect storage media that contains update data of version 2.70 or later. What do I do now?

You own a console, you'll need both a USB and a PC for this...

Install a dex firmware as drobythepound said in step 6 if it still says applicable firmware not found try a 3.55 dex firmware like rogero
