(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm having a problem downgrading a fat PS3(CECHH01). When i press the start button on the E3 Flasher I wait a few seconds and then the first LED light is blinking blue. All levelers are down except for the third one. So the steps are correct. Pressure is on. I have a clamp on it snugged pretty good. So it's not that either. Any suggestions? Again 1 blue light is blinking. The first one

Maybe 01000000? "failed to intialize tf card"

You can take a look at the error codes here:

I wouldn't rule out pressure either..it must be even and consistent, allowing all pins to make contact with the NOR chip..

Yep, listen to Dro. He is certainly right. You want to make sure you sure all pins are making contact with the chip. Also, consider getting a "G" clamp to apply pressure to the chip...

It's not the first time I downgrade with my E3 flasher. I take caution every time I downgrade PS3's. Never had this error before. About the pressure on the NOR chip or the card reader

Some people state to clean the copper legs were the TF card will be making contact. Have you tried cleaning it?

Yes, but this can mean anything from your bkpps3.bin file being mispelled or corrupted, sd card not formatted to fat32, or just plain poor contact..

Pressure is one of the most common things to cause errors..I'm not saying it IS the problem, I'm just saying I wouldn't rule it out..

it has nothing to do with the bkpps3.bin being mispelled because im at the beginning of the process where i put the update.bin file, not even in the bkpps3.bin part, so thats not it, pressure also isnt it for a fact, im going to try cleaning the TF reader legs see if that helps

Well I got it to work. It was because I formatted to default fat and not fat 32. I did 3 backs ups. On the last back up I patched it, put it on the SD card. And continued with the process. All lights were almost blue until the PS3 just turned off. No error codes on the e3 flasher or anything. Just turned off. Now the PS3 turns on and back off like if it had YLOD. But of course it doesn't. Just applied new thermal paste. What could this be? I don't know if it's bricked and if it is how the hell? I didn't touch anything. Also if it's bricked how can I unbrick it? Like I said I turn it on and it turns back off with s red flashing light. Tried go to safe mode but it won't let me as it beeps and turns off. Any suggestions would be appreciated
