(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); the fan in my cech2002A the one i mentioned that was getting ylod on start up time to time, well i worked out what was causing the ylod, my fan does not always start up when i turn on ps3 and i have to use a pen and spin fan then turn ps3 on to jump start my fan allowing the ps3 to turn on time to time, also my fan is now getting a clicking sound so i assume my fan is failing, is that definitely the case and if so can i fix it without replacing fan? i can easily get a new one but i'd like to save money where i can.

UPDATE: i how now fixed my fan but the psu is still getting really hot and i don't wanna use cobra or game manager fan mod, i'm getting an adjuster to solder in soon but for now anyone know a good fan manager or a spoofer that works on ita 4.55 thanks.

Anyway replying to your update. You should possibly consider buying a fan mod. Also, it appears you putting too much pressure on your PSU. How did you clean the fan?

i fixed the fan, i'm having a freezing issue and heat issue but thats bad thermal paste lol i still haven't replaced it, but for now i'm just not using console till i replace thermal compound and install an adjuster, i don't wanna have to reball it cause i was to lazy to fix it, when i do that i'll put better grease on fan atm what i have is not gonna last long term but has fixed the slow movement and clicking. when i cleaned it out the stuff in it was dry causing the fan spinning issue. i'm going to drill holes on top as well so i don't have to have top off, with top off its 10 degrees cooler. With my old ps3 it use to get lot of air cause i had no blu ray so air got in there also it was on cobra set to auto at 60 so it never had heat issue, plus it was a 2102B the psu didn't get so hot on it btw my psu is not screwed on lol will be once ps3 is reassembled i know what happens when psu is screwed to tight causes a ps3 to shut off cause of current never looked at to see exactly why but don't matter really just don't do it. Reason its not been fix is i haven't had the funds to fix everything lately of my own. i am getting to it all though. The ps3 isn't what i mainly anymore anyways so i'm not in a rush to fix the 2 system of min that need work finishing.
