I have read, researched untill my eyes are ready to fall out. I also purchased a different flash drive but still a no go! Any help to point me in the right direction will be appreciated greatly!! Man i flashed my PS3 out the itch file in flashed it. Then video said I didn't need flasher anymore. So I took apart PS3 pulled e3 out. Put my PS3 back together put the HDD back in. An now it states "connect PS3 controller" [img][/img] now I'm stuck on this screen I search for update an there's nothing. What can I do please help me? Spent 45 bucks for flashes tried 6 different times to flash finally it works now it's doing this bullshit please let me know ASAP.

It will sometimes give you that error message if the .PUP file is corrupt or is not in the correct destination on your USB. Make sure that the .PUP file is in the folders "PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP" if that doesn't work, try to download the .PUP file again. Good Luck!

just to confirm, did you flash to 4.55 or 3.55.
need to go down to 3.55 then use downgrader.
if you get this problem after that you need 3.55.4 cfw and update it 2 times
