Post: Bricked PS3 Help

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i tried to downgrade my ps3 with an E3 flasher and the e3 flasher got disconnected a bit before i the flash was done and now my ps3 is fully bricked i turn it on then beeps twice then off i have soldered the bridge on the back but is still not working my motherboard is DYN-001 and heres a picture of how i soldered the bridge You must login or register to view this content.
and yes i know the soldering i did was horrible it was my first time
so is there a way to fix it or is it completely gone?

No picture included :/

Verify that you are actually soldering to the tristate. You can use any ground point on the board. You can even stick the other end into the fan ground, right into the plug, to save time.

If you are still getting ylod after soldering tristate to a ground, then chances are that something has shorted..most likely while it disconnected while writing the flash. The pressure should be strong and consistent. Breaking the connection at that time is only asking for this to happen..

Couldn't have said it any better than Dro. Could you tell me how it got disconnected a bit, since normally when you downgrade a console everything should be stationary. When the console turns on what colours appear on the touch pad?

I've had issues where you clip the connector onto the nor chip. Some people recommend putting a nickel on top to hold your clip on the nor chip. My experience is if you put to much pressure on that it will cause your console to come on beep twice and shut off. I never really figured out exactly what it was that was causing it to shut down. Maybe it was grounding out somewhere. Either way I just wanted to share that. Hope it helps.

heres the picture (You must login or register to view this content.) i will try connecting it to the fan ground to see if it works btw non of the lights are on the power buttin lights up when i press on then beeps twice then off
