also downloaded another dlc for a game, it has rap files - not sure where to use them

im on 4.81 now since i couldnt get anythin to work on 4.46

When you downloaded ReactPSN, it should've included a folder called exdata with the .pkg file. You need to have that exdata folder copied to your USB drive's root along with the .pkg file.

PSNpatch will probably work better for you..

1. On the root of a fat32 formatted usb flash drive, create a folder named "exdata" (no quotes)
2. Place your .rap/.rif/.edat files inside the "exdata" folder
3. Insert the flash drive into the furthest right most port of the ps3.

4. Download and install You must login or register to view this content. to your ps3
5. Install the .pkg file to your game/dlc
6. Once that is finished, open PSNpatch
7. There should be an option to press L1, to install your .rap files
Once that is done you should be able to play the game..

Make sure whatever account you are doing this on has been activated.

go to account management
yada yada
activate console for gaming

The latest firmware I've used with that method is 4.75. It should work as long as the .rap files are valid and the dlc is compatible with your game's region.



It's the same for reactpsn as well, have to have the main account activated.

Just use a public CID if you need to, just to get the activation done..
