(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi NGU Members.

I have a issue here with my PS3. I just recently bought a PS3 and I tested it out yesterday works perfectly fine. Today I opened it up to use my E3 Flasher to downgrade. But something was not right the fan cable is not correctly clipped on. I can't push it on now either. So I put the PS3 back together and it will not turn on now no red light either. It's a PS3 Slim CECH - 2003A I never installed no e3 stuff just opened it up. Also I got my friends grandad to fix it he's gunna solderiron the thing down and should get it working.

Could anybody tell me if that would work or not or is it even broken just need to get the fan thing fixed down.

Thanks NGU

Without pictures or lots more info, we're just guessing. Sounds like you either didnt put it together correctly or you shorted something...

If your power supply is plugged in to the motherboard and to the power cable, and no lights come on your ps3, then the power supply is shot.

If you broke the fan plug or broke it off of the motherboard, you will need to solder power, signal, and ground wire from the fan to the motherboard.
