(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi I just bought a PS3 of some guy and the PS3 worked the day I got it. After the day I got it my friend opened the PS3 up to install the e3 flasher he only put the clip on never installed nothing to the PS3. Once he tried to turn it on with the e3 clipped to the board the PS3 would not turn on. There is no power light or nothing? What would the solution be? Thanks

he probably forgot to connect something while rebuilding, thats means open it up and check every connection/cable

I downgraded many ps3's, and even when I was sure i had everything it still wouldnt work so i just took it apart again and did connect everything again, that is the only way to make sure

Been working with OP over pm..

First, the fan plug broke off, so we soldered the fan directly to the board.

But that was not all, there are also no lights or anything coming on the ps3 when trying to start. Popped power supply or short during flash.

I have suggested that he get a new power supply if he wants to try to continue, or assume it is a short and do not.
