If you get banned by a game, you won't be able to play that game online, just that game, on either the account or the console, or both..
You will need either a new cid or make a new account to play this game again, online.

If you get console banned( see eye dee ) by sony, you will no longer have access to psn (can't sign in at all on any account)
It will say "this console has been banned or temporarily suspended"
You will need a new see eye dee

If you get account banned( psid ) by sony, you will no longer have access to psn ( can't sign in at all on THAT account ) and games,etc purchased on the account is no longer accessible.
It will say "this account has been banned or temporarily suspended"
You will need to create a new account

Sometimes you can get both type of bans at the same time.


Once you sign into psn on cfw, the account and console id is forever at risk of being banned. Nothing you can do really.
If they decide to look into your account/console information for any reason, they can most likely see that you are on cfw somehow..





Being bricked is a completely different thing. To be bricked is for the console to have damages that are considered beyond repair..This happens from running incompatible softwares on the ps3, editing files incorrectly, ylod, glod, short, etc etc..

There is no way to prevent a ban. These packages may only delay, but they will not fully prevent, nothing can do this.

I know that Kam i must of worded it wrong but how much does it Delay your ban? If its a long time then i'll consider in buying a Jailbroken PS3 if it isnt really good and will get banned pretty quick then i see no point in putting the money in really. Im mostly just gonna be modding CoD, mostly MW2 and MW3.

Mudjugger - Well if will happen often you might have to keep buying these CID's and PSID's.. Whats the price for these things mate? Hopefully not expensive, because if you get banned often the money adds up.
