find 3.55 ofw firmware somewhere on this site

I am currently trying haha seems links are down/lost

1. Download You must login or register to view this content.
2. Rename the file to "PS3UPDAT.PUP" (no quotes)
3. On a fat32 formatted usb flash drive, create a folder named "PS3"
4. Inside the "PS3" folder, create a folder named "UPDATE"
5. Inside the "UPDATE" folder, place the "PS3UPDAT.PUP"

Folder structure should be:
fat32formattedflashdriveroot/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

6. Insert the flash drive into the right most port of the ps3.
7. Boot ps3 into recovery and/or select option "update system" and select your flash drive
8. Follow prompt and install.


You should then be on ROgero downgrader 3.55

9. Download, install, and run You must login or register to view this content. on your ps3

You are now free to install a cfw of your choice.

Cheers for the guide and files!, Sorry to be a noob but what exactly will this do seems a bit long winded compared to just putting 3.55 on and going from there haha not hating tho

It is a 3.55 downgrader, should work just fine, just the first steps before installing cfw, and how.

You only need to qa flag once btw. Your console should beep and restart, then install a (most likely CEX) cfw of your choice.

download 3.55 rebug then go to 4.76 rebug d-rex and switch to dex.
