My ps3 is DEX on version 4.7. I have recently found a torrent of black ops 3 for ps3 and installed it to my ps3 via FTP using FileZilla and let it download through the night. After the transfer was complete I went to go see if the game was on my Multiman I didn't see it there :/ My multiman version is 4.78.00 and it's up to date. I don't know what I did wrong. Please HELP :/

did u make sure all the right files where in the folder such as the param.sfo and stuff?

You see how in PIC #2 you have the BLES-02166-[Black ops 3] ?
Inside that folder I see you have another folder (BLES02166) and a pkg file

That should be PS3_GAME or USRDIR so you must have the game within another folder in there.


Open the BLES02166 folder, what is in there? If it is USRDIR or PS3_GAME, then extract everything just outside of that folder, if that makes sense. Hope so!

Step 1: Find the torrented game you need, and download it.
Step 2: Put a Flash Memory or External Hard Disk (FAT32) onto your pc.
Step 3: Then create two folders on your desktop named exactly like this "GAMES"
Step 4: Copy the game onto the "GAMES" folder and drop it or paste in there.
Step 5: Put your Flash Memory or External Hard Disk (FAT32) in your PS3
Step 6: Go to multiMAN and then play the game or copy the game on to your HDD!

If you do copy it, make sure do enable internal and mirror the game. You're set bud!

What do you mean by extract? Would I have to do the extraction on my PC and the re-transfer the files to my ps3? or is there some way to do the extraction in multiman via filezilla?

No I mean once you open the BLES02166 folder, you see PS3_GAME folder and PS3_disc.sfb, take those out of the BLES02166 folder and put them into "BLES-02166 - [ Black ops 3 ].

BLES02166 should be empty afterwards, delete it and the pkg file.

This can be done on filezilla or transfer/retransfer. However you decide to do it.

Okay, so I did what you told me to do and I got the game to show up in my Multiman. But unfortunately another problem came up. So, the first thing I did was go into the game setting via Multiman and check "BD Mirror and Internal" since I put it on my hard drive. Next I tried to start the game and it gave me a prompt saying that my ps3 needs to be on version 4.76 since I was on 4.75 dex. So i updated my ps3 to 4.76 d-dex and tried it once more. Multiman accepted this time and brought me to the XMB screen but I then could not see the game disk icon anywhere or anywhere to load the game. Am I doing something else wrong here?
