d-rex and rex firmwares are able to swap lv2 and target type cex/dex. That doesn't enable you to install a lower firmware. QA flagging is what enables this, which is available to other firmwares besides d-rex and rex.

you missed the whole point.
if hes on 4.78.1 D-REX cfw he can install 4.75.3 right over it no downgrader needed..

i have run and tried every combination under the sun, i know what works and what dont. i mod/maintain 60+ consoles on a regular. (customers refuse to learn) you mod/maintain how many????? it really dont matter, im assuming just your own, and i bet you also use psninja and psnpatch thinking it helps you from ban

without QA flagging enabled with rebug toolbox, you can NOT install 4.75 over 4.78 you wouldn't know this because you've never turned the QA flagging function off. It's on by default

you do realize qa is enabled by default so whats the problem? am i missing something? lol

side note: you can turn toggle qa off and still go from 4.78 dex to 4.75 dex, try it if you dont believe me. bet you didnt know that???

i'm pretty sure that you can't install a lower firmware than what you're on without qa enabled. i'm not going to bother testing it, but if you're right then so be it.

i wouldnt lie to you man, dex/dex is like the ultimate toggle qa on steroids

example; i got a 4.70.1 here beside me, dex/dex and when i go to update via storage (with or with out qa enabled) it says update to 2.70 or higher
i can install any cfw i want as long as its dex and higher than 2.70

now if it was on 4.70 cex it would say update 4.70 or higher
