(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so i recently found my ps3. Its jailbroken on ITA 4.70. I remember accidentally frying the HDD, but i replaced it and reinstalled the ita firmware, its been a while since I last fired it up so I dont know if the firmware for it was updated and hackers came out with a new way of getting online. If someone could please help me get it back up I would be very thankful.

You may not need a firmware spoof since on DEX, but

You should be able to use SEN Enabler You must login or register to view this content.

1. put the .pkg on the root of a usb flash drive
2. insert the usb into the ps3
3. On the xmb, go to "install_package_files"
4. install sen enabler
5. Once installed, open sen enabler
6. Go to sen/psn options
7. Follow prompt to allow sen access

Once it is finished, it will ask if you want to reboot

8. Select hard reboot.
9. Once your ps3 restarts, On the xmb, go to system settings/system information and your firmware should match the latest sony OFW, which is currently 4.78

You are then free to sign in, assuming you have a valid CID.
Spoof CID/PSID if you wish.

Or you can change firmwares..

I installed it and started it, but it keeps returning to the XMB everytime I try to start it

Can you run other homebrew or is only senenabler that does this? It should at least start the software..

See if you can sign in.

You're on DEX and a somewhat recent firmware, so you might not even need a spoof.

If it asks you to update, select no and cancel it.

If you do need a spoof, you should probably just change firmwares.

I know sen enabler is working on Ps3ITA 4.50(although idk why it wouldn't work on ita4.70) and rebug and most recent firmwares..

You could try those..

When I fried my hdd and replaced it I installed the PS3ITA 4.65 dex (cobra) firmware. Since it had a fresh hdd i had to restore an existing account. When I tried to do that it said "The connection to the server timed out". And thats the reason I stopped playing it.

Try changing your NP Environment in Debug Settings to NP and not SP-INT.
