But I seen to go online you need to have your IDPS and PSID beforehand and set it with CCAPI, so I am wondering a simple way to grab both when I am on kmeaw

You don't need to set them? They are already set, if needed to change then depending what CFW you are on you can use IDPS set to get both. Otherwise most apps such as multiman and Rebug toolbox will only show you CID.

When you first jailbreak your console. You get one unique Console ID. You can go to multiMAN and check your IDPS/PSID. Then, you can set your CID on IDPS changer and "set current IDPS" Since you are getting a new CFW, you don't need to set your current IDPS. It'll automatically do it for you. In addition, remember that NextGenUpdate does not affiliate with CONSOLE ID's! Please don't ask, share, sell, etc.. CID's as we don't allow them here.

I was told to go online on 4.78.2 drex you need to use ccapi to set console id and psid, bad info maybe?

Providing your console hasn't been banned b4 you can use the original cid that is already on the console. But when you switch to Dex I believe ur cid becomes invalid so you would need to change one part of it (it's a certain number you have to change) you could use Sen enabler to view ur current cid so u could write it down and set it in ccapi if u needed to..

If I remember correctly you have to look at ur cid so lets say it's this

00000000123XXXXXXX82XXXX.

the 82 I believe has to be changed to 84 to make it valid if u get the error 8002a224 it means ur cid isn't valid. but others know more about this then me .

Also keep in mind that most tools don't work for 4.78 which means you have to add the ccapi 2.70 dlls to the rtm tools u are trying to use.. it would be easier to just go to 4.75.3 drex rebug..as all tools usually use ccapi 2.60..


When you get banned is when you change your cid usually buying cids are better then using free ones cause free ones they usually get banned really fast.. so keep that in mind..


And when you do get a new cid

It goes in the idps box in ccapi and psnid goes in the second box then just remember to

Set current idps n psnid
Set boot idps and psnid

That way everytime you start your console your new cid n psnid will be used and you will see it pop up on the bottom right of ur screen.
