Anyone know what this problem is? It just crashes, Only comes up with picture once then won't display again until in different TV, I downgraded and it done it on recovery problem? So I tried changing thermal and flashing back to orig backup and it done this since and when I tap the top of the ps3 it changes the blur as u can see in pictures,
Anyone helps I will be thankful.

Sounds like your cables or av/hdmi port is messed up. Try another known working cable.

I just seen the pictures, it always happends to me. Click "Yes" then you should get a blackscreen like me. On your controller click the button "o" or "square, 100% it's "o" and you should be set Smile Your screen should come up back.

After I downgraded it happened and even done it in recovery so highly doubt this would work but I'll give it a try thanks man

I've tried both av and HDMI cables and does same, I got told it could be GPU but not to sure

The only way to find out at this point would be to continue to dick with it..You have ruled out a few things with what you have already done.

Personally, I would probably try another known working hdd, you never know, before I decided to lightly reflow the GPU(RSX)..You already changed thermal paste, the console was running fine so that should have helped quite a bit. You could also try bending the clamps to the motherboard to assure a good connection between the heatsink and the chip.

If none of that helped, I would think you have a bad flash or something dramatic..

could it be the TV? but yeah or maybe an issue with the GPU or the connectons ur PS3 has with the cords in the back
