(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); 1)Which CFW should I be on for modding? CEX or DEX?

2)Why should I be on CEX for modding?

3)Why should I be on DEX for modiing?

Facts:
*I already have GTA5 mods installed, installed by the seller who sold me my jailbroken console.
*I dont have the GTA5 game yet, so i haven't tested the mods.
*I have converted my PS3 to CEX from DEX.
*My console is on the CFW: Rebug_4.78.3_REX
*Cobra is enabled in Rebug Toolbox

1.) Cex used to be firmware which you couldn't do that much, but know since Enstone released CCAPI. You can now mod with it like DEX. Dex on the other hand is for the more advanced people. Both are the same, but if you wanna look cool it's Dex. In the meanwhile, if you're barely beginning, please stay on CEX. Since you said you are on DEX. Then, congrats <Happy

2/3.) Same thing as I said on the first question, there both the same as if now in 2016. Dex is a debug console, for more advanced users. Cex is just like Dex, but it's just the beginner's console.

1)Are you saying, all I need is CCAPI(i think my console came with it, untill i uninstalled it, because i didnt know what it was) to use the GTA5 mods installed on my console?

2)What is CCAPI, and How does it help me mod? or allow me to mod on GTA5?

No, Cex used to a normal firmware where you couldn't mod on it BACK then. Now, since CCAPI has been released it lets you mod on Cex now. CCAPI is used for to log in into PSN or to use RTM Tools.

Check this thread out to see what CCAPI is about: You must login or register to view this content. It allows you to go online or mod basically.

Also, check this out: You must login or register to view this content. if you want to set up CCAPI and learn more about it.

Well, CCAPI supports Cex basically. You can run RTM Tools connected from CCAPI. If you are running on a Cex firmware, i'd advise you to get CCAPI.
