1.) You need to re-enable the options before you play and after you play. Many people think this Homebrew works,but i've shared my CID with 3 people and never been banned off any game nor CID banned. I don't even use PSNPatch either. It has been a year since I had my other CID.

2.) No, they will not interupt each other, both homebrew will work the same together.
