You can't jailbreak it. You can either downgrade the PS3 yourself using an e3 flasher or you can send it off to somebody to do it for you. I recommend sending it over to somebody because you might not know what you're doing.

Yeah the truth about those surveys is no matter how many you do they'll never end or if you manage to bypass them there either won't be any download anyways or it'll be some sort of bullshit virus so those are all BS.

Those are most likely trying to get you to do the survey which earns them money. You need to downgrade the PS3 which involves taking apart the PS3 and using either an E3 Flasher or Progskeet to flash it. Some models cannot be downgraded so you will need to check if you can. What model is your PS3?

There 3 types of PS3s. There's Phat > Slim > Super Slim. Super Slims can't be jailbroken. Some Slims can, but it all depends on the model. Every Phat Model can be jailbroken. Whenever the download has a survey DO NOT do it! It's fake or it is a virus! What kind of PS3 do you have, and what model?

Yes, that model can be downgraded. As you can see, the Flash is a 1 x 16MB NOR. The NOR Downgrader is an E3 Flasher.
