(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My PS3 has now got the RSOD which is now fairly easy to fix with the rsod bypass CFWs but now my other problem is when I go into recovery mode it freezes when I click anything and sometimes when I connect the controller it stays on the "connect usb to controller" on recovery or whatever it says I'm on 4.70 rebug CFW it will be very appreciated if you could atleast try help with my issue.

Your hdd could be damaged. You should try another known working one. You will need to format the new drive to your ps3.

1. Install the new hdd
2. Boot ps3 into recovery
3. Select option "restore ps3 system"
this will format the new hdd to the ps3 and wipe everything, games, saves, homebrew, etc.
When it's finished, you will be brought to a black screen asking for you last syscall (last cfw you had installed)

4. From this point you can install rogero downgrader RSOD, run RSODfix.pkg, then you are free to install a cfw of your choice.
