You can find the debug settings on the XMB, second column from the left, under network settings.

change:

Np Environment to "Np"
Boot mode to "system software mode"
network settings for debug to "single settings" (or also try dual settings)


When trying to sign in or create an account, make sure you have a valid CID set to the console.

Sometimes this issue is just psn's side and has to do with creating an account. If you are trying to create an account and see this error, change network settings for debug to "single settings" (also try dual settings), create the account on You must login or register to view this content.

You still might need to create an name for the account, but input the info to your ps3 and try to hurry past everything until it asks you to create a name. If it times out during the name selection, the name could be taken already, or you will just have to try again. It happens. good luck!

dual setting is when your using wifi and ethernet at the same time, all he gotta is change SP to NP np environment which i saw that u already mentioned
