To my knowledge there are no other ribbons that are compatible on the ps3 board. The older ps3's used a 10 "pin" connection while the new 3000's used 6. Since you're jailbreaking you must have the older 10.

The user has forgotten to provide a quote for you. I'm just quoting you to see if you can get back with the user, thank you.

To my understanding the fats used a 10 pin ribbon for the "power/eject" buttons and the early slims used a different 10 pin ribbon. The later slims used a 6. I can't find reference of a 12 pin blue white anywhere except for a ps4 controller.

Hypothetically speaking, if you had a newer slim with a 6 pin and a spare older 10 pin, there are videos of people cutting 4 rows off and adapting the old cable to fit the newer slim; but not the other way around.

Can you find a picture of the connector you need online like with an ebay part? Maybe we're talking about different things.

PS: Thank you Hydrogen for the quote notification. Happy
