Im not sure what to get or what i'll get the most out of.. If heard people saying about Jailbreaking PS4's now? Is that true? Please help guys, post your views which you think is best and what you get most out of.. (Dont talk about Xbox Ones, as i dont want to be with Microsoft)

The PS4 is not jailbroken yet and i would get a JB PS3 because you can get any game/DLC etc all for free, play old school games on it by downloading and adding the ROMS and playing them with Retroarch, If you were to purchase Elite here you could open an account modding recovery shop and make a couple bucks so there's lots to do with a JB PS3 that you can't do with a PS4 yet. At the end of the day the choice is yours man

When the cost of jailbreaking for me went up slowly as I needed more parts I thought about the same thing. However I'm still spending 250+ dollars less than going to ps4. And the reason I'm doing it is because I already have a ps3 so the jail broken console adds to my game collection and pre existing accounts.

If you have a lot of ps3 games and are still playing online, jail breaking a console might be for you but if you aren't as attached to the ps3 you could go ps4. I mean eventually there might be a way to hack the ps4 but right now there isn't a jailbreak for 3000 and 4000 series ps3 consoles, I'd imagine those would get broken first before ps4.

The cost of starting all over again with ps4 was a turn off for me too, repurchasing the same games, controllers not to mention paying to play. I'm personally going to wait a little bit until the ps4 price goes down. Also the extra video quality of the ps4 can't be displayed on my current TV so I wouldn't notice much of a difference save for better ps4 loading times. But fallout 4, starwars battlefront, new uncharted, ratchet etc makes it all very tempting. Are there games on the ps4 you really want to play? Can you also get them for the PC as a short term solution?

If you could find a decent priced cfw or a cheap downgrade why not? Like someone above said free stuff you can play older games etc.
