(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey so i was wondering after my 10+ attempt of making a backup of this ps3 unit if anyone had any tips?

The model is CECHK and there is resistors blocking it on the motherboard, it looks like it is getting contact but i get 10001100 or a very bad backup (111 problems of 13Cool Man (aka Tustin).

I hade done it to 3 units before, no problems with the flasher and the flasher looks perfectly fine.

Try using a clamp and/or you could shave the clip a bit(not recommended)..

if the resister is blocking it, it doesnt hurt to shave a little of the plastic on the E3 flasher, not too much just a little to make it fit, i had to do it to mine.

when i first did a CECHJ / nor fat i couldn't get a read but i looked at the clip on both sides on corners really carefully and noticed that it was not 100% flat so if your clip is good then make sure it is and it should read, i think i only shaved about a mil on mine but that was for slims anyways once its 100% flat use tape etc so it don't move when you put it together and your good to go and like jon said make sure its the right way, thats if you still have not resolved it.. atm my clip is stuffed so it thinks its working but it is missing blocks etc with is why i have RSOD on my slim every time i unbrick it, i got 3 bad dumps to start with cause of damaged clip, logic lol but system still works so i'm not complaining that and i have 3 ps3's atm anyways. i tend to notice that on ngu i'll ask for help but i usually fix it before someone can help me or what i'm told doesn't work or is a good idea of what to do but at least theres some people trying to help most the time when i ask a question its a stupid thing that i forgot or its uncommon.

True. I didn't acknowledge you have a fat, my bad..

I usually tape down the clip to the fats, then stick a thick piece of foam on it and close up the ps3 to get good pressure on the NORchip...
