(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've got a REBUG PS3 that was given to me already fully jailbroken with all the apps needed to mod. Now my problem is I clicked on Debug (not paying attention) and I clicked on something that gave me two options to spoof something called cex/dex and rex I believe. And like a fool before catching onto what I was doing I clicked on it and it said after words something about a HARD EBOOT and after that my console cut off and came back on and after that it's been showing me a green wave screen and nothing else. Now when I go to the safe mode it'll quickly show in the top right corner Webman and after that Estone, but it won't show anything else to where I can log in or move to other options on the playstation.

what do you mean by "Restore it" if your referencing to resetting the system back to factory settings then yes I'm 99% sure it would remove the custom firmware as well

When I went to the safe mode it gives you options on what to do and one of them says restore console to factory settings, but what i want to know is if I do this will the console still be jailbroken? I have all my apps that is on it now saved on a flashdrive. This is what I'm talking about:Safe Mode Options

In Safe Mode, you will have the following options:
Restart System - Ends safe mode and starts up the PLAYSTATION 3 normally.
Restore Default Settings - Performs the same operations as on the XMB™, and also deletes PlayStation®Network account information from the system.
Restore File System - Attempts to repair all areas on the hard disk drive where files can be saved. Corrupted data may be erased if it cannot be recovered.
Rebuild Database - Deletes messages, playlists, changes made on screens, trimming information for pictures in , video thumbnails, video playback history and video resume information.
This operation may take a long time depending on the type and number of data items.
Restore PS3 System - IMPORTANT: All data will be lost by performing this step.
This will reformat the hard drive on the PLAYSTATION 3, deleting all data and restoring it to as if it just came out of the box. This is the same as on the XMB.
System Update - Updates the PS3 system software. This can only be done with an update file already saved on an external storage media.

Don't ever restore PS3. You want to keep your Custom Firmware correct? What do you mean by messing up? Are you still on a CFW?

yes I want to keep the custom firmware, see I messed up lastnight and went to Debug and it gave me two options to spoof two different things and like a fool and not thinking I clicked on one of them and it said something about hard eboot and ever since that it's been showing me a greensih wave screen and won't do anything else,I know the estone is still popping up and the webman does also. But other than that it doesn't show me the screen to select to sign in or anything

try re-installing firmware and see if you have install package files. With editing dev_flash file if you mess up your more and likely get a soft brick which means you will have to re-install firmware

1. Download your firmware
2. Rename the file "PS3UPDAT.PUP" (no quotes)
3. On a fat32 formatted usb flash drive, create a folder named "PS3"
4. Inside the "PS3" folder, create a folder named "UPDATE"
5. Inside the "UPDATE" folder, place the "PS3UPDAT.PUP"

Folder structure should be:
fat32formattedusbflashdriveroot/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

6. Insert the flash drive into the rightmost port of the ps3

7. Boot your ps3 into recovery mode:
A. Press the power button to shut off the console
B. Press and hold the power button, you will hear a beep upon powering on, another beep, and then two beeps in which case you can release the power button
You will then be greeted with the recovery menu

8. Select option "update system"
9. Follow prompt and install your cfw

You may need to reinstall some if not all apps/hombrew etc. You will still have your games and saves.
