They have already been installed and don't show up until I download any update. Is this normal? Can I get rid of them?

Yeah go to the packages folder in Filezilla in devhdd0 and you can delete them from there.

No it just deletes them from sitting in the package folder.

There is no files there when I check.

Did you check the pkg folder?

I checked both packages and pkg

Hmm i'm on the same firmware and pkg files are always stored in the packages folder for me so i delete them after installing them. See for proof: You must login or register to view this content.
